The official empire summary is "raise walls, burn with Greek Fire, silence your enemy with diplomacy", and the burn sits exactly where a control deck wants its punishment layer.

Burn effects are the mirror image of the wall: walls stop damage that arrives, Greek Fire stops units that overstay. Against swarm empires like China it is the premium answer — many small bodies are exactly what a board-wide burn profits from. Exact damage values and targeting rules arrive at launch.
