Austrian Guns Card Guide
What the Austrian Guns Do
The official Austrian description ends with "the guns speak every turn" — a standing artillery pressure that punishes anything that stays in range. Unlike one-shot burn, every-turn guns compound: each turn the board stalls, the Austrian win condition ticks closer. Official stats land at launch.
How to Use Recurring Damage
Recurring damage changes the clock of the match: the opponent cannot simply stabilize and bank — every stalled turn is a losing turn. The Austrian plan is therefore to survive the opening, deploy the guns behind the Coalition body, and let the clock do the closing. Opponents must win above the board (seals, diplomacy, burns) or break through both wings.
Empire Context
The guns are the pressure half of Austria's two-wing arrival: "opens slowly, then presses from both wings at once" — and keeps pressing, every turn, until the match is decided.
